This year our theme is “LGBTQ+: Mind, Body, and Soul.” This theme focuses on total wellness and includes issues of mental health, physical and sexual wellness, body image, spirituality, and the arts. With this theme, we are searching for the most inventive and diverse workshops, discussions, presentations, panels, and performances for OUTstanding 2014! For more information about our theme, please view the “about” page.

Frequently asked questions

When is the conference? November 8th, 2014. The time is yet to be determined.

Who can submit a proposal? Anyone! You do not have to be a UT student/faculty/staff to submit a proposal.

Will I be compensated? Presenters are not guaranteed monetary compensation. Once we finalize our budget, an honorarium may be offered.

What audiovisual equipment can I use? AV equipment, such as transparencies, slides, PowerPoint, video, handouts, and other visual aids are allowed; however, presenters must submit AV requests in their proposal for it to be allowed at the seminar.
